NATPE to Honor Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

LOS ANGELES: The hit ABC reality series Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, produced by Endemol USA, will be honored with NATPE’s third annual Innovator Award at the LATV Fest on July 13.

Endemol USA’s Caroline Baumgard, the senior VP of development, and Rob Smith, the senior VP of programming, and ABC Entertainment Group’s Vicki Dummer, the senior VP of alternative series, specials and late-night, will accept the award at a cocktail reception on Tuesday, July 13. NATPE created the Innovator Award to recognize outstanding achievement in unscripted programming. "The efforts made by Extreme Makeover: Home Edition exemplify the ability to empower viewers through television as they showcase the positive changes made in the lives of hundreds of families across the country," said Rick Feldman, the president and CEO of NATPE. "NATPE is proud to honor the show for its contributions and influence with this year’s Innovator Award."
