CANNES: Everyday Exotic and French Food at Home have been sold by Portfolio International to Scripps Networks’ recently announced Cooking Channel in the U.S.

The 13×30-minute Everyday Exotic features host Roger Mooking exploring a different distinctive seasoning and its palate in each episode. Mooking incorporates these exotic ingredients into everyday cooking. The series is produced in HD by Magee TV for Food Network Canada.

Host Laura Calder shows how to make French cooking easy in French Food at Home. The 13×30-minute series, produced by Ocean Entertainment, also airs on Food Network Canada.

Joy Rosen, Portfolio International’s founder and co-president, commented of the deal: “We are delighted to be part of the Cooking Channel’s wonderful new lineup of culinary programming for avid, food-loving, U.S. audiences. The Cooking Channel celebrates entertaining, informative and instructional programs making it an ideal home for both series.”
