More Channel Launches for BBC Worldwide on Hong Kong Cable

SINGAPORE/LONDON: BBC Lifestyle, BBC Entertainment and CBeebies are the newest channels from BBC Worldwide to launch on Hong Kong Cable. 

These three additions join BBC Knowledge and BBC World News, which are already available on Hong Kong Cable. All five channels will be offered free of charge to Hong Kong Cable subscribers from December 22 until January. After this, the channels will be part of the BBC Family Pack. In Hong Kong, BBC Knowledge, BBC Lifestyle and BBC Entertainment are subtitled in Chinese. 

Mark Whitehead, the senior VP and general manager of BBC Worldwide Channels Asia, commented: “We are excited to be expanding our distribution and that the full portfolio of channels encapsulating the quality, breadth and depth of our programming, will be available to Hong Kong Cable subscribers.”
