E1 to Produce, Distribute New CBS TV Movie

TORONTO: E1 Entertainment is producing a new Hallmark Hall of Fame TV-movie presentation, When Love is Not Enough: The Lois Wilson Story, which is set to star Winona Ryder and air on CBS. 

Production has begun in Toronto on the film, based on the biography of Wilson by William G. Borchert. It follows her relationship with her husband Bill, who co-founded Alcoholics Anonymous after his own battle with addiction. In 1951, Wilson co-founded Al-Anon to help support the friends and relatives of alcoholics. 

When Love is Not Enough: The Lois Wilson Story is being produced by E1 Entertainment, in association with Hallmark Hall of Fame Productions. John Morayniss, Ira Pincus and Brent Shields are the executive producers; John Kent Harrison is the director; Borchert and Camille Thomasson wrote the script. E1 Entertainment will handle international distribution, excluding the U.S.
