Cartoon Network Partners with NFL for Super Bowl Promotion

ATLANTA: Cartoon Network and the National Football League (NFL) have teamed up to launch the NFL PLAY 60 Super Bowl Contest, which will see one lucky winner, aged 6 to 13, hand the game ball to an official on the field at Super Bowl XLIV in Miami.

Kids can enter the NFL PLAY 60 Super Bowl Contest online at NFLRUSH.com through December 9. To be eligible, they must pledge to be active for 60 minutes a day and answer two questions about the importance of health and fitness. The winner will be selected by a panel of NFL players committed to "playing 60" every day. The grand prize includes a trip for four to Super Bowl XLIV. The winner also will be profiled on Cartoon Network, which will be promoting the contest across all its linear and digital platforms.

Last year’s NFL PLAY 60 Super Bowl Contest saw more than 20,000 kids register for the chance to be a part of the Super Bowl by pledging to "play 60."

Super Bowl XLIV will be played at Dolphin Stadium in Miami, Florida, on February 7, 2010, and will be broadcast on CBS.
