E1 Names U.S. VP of Alternative Programming

TORONTO/LOS ANGELES/LONDON: E1 Entertainment has appointed Tara Long as VP of U.S. alternative programming, to be based in Los Angeles and report directly to John Morayniss, the CEO of E1 Television.

Long will be responsible for growing E1 Television’s new U.S. reality division. Before joining E1, Long was the VP of development for BCII, a production company specializing in reality TV. Prior to this, Long was with 51 Minds, working on a wide range of reality series for VH1.

“I’m thrilled that Tara has joined our expanding creative team at E1,” said Morayniss. “She is a talented and incredibly hard working executive and executive producer with a great track record and extensive experience in both reality television and in the music business. Her experience and background makes her a perfect fit for E1 which is thriving in both of those sectors—television and music.
