4Kids Scores New European Partnerships

LONDON, August 25: 4Kids Entertainment has named four new
agencies—Euro Lizenzen, m4e, Planeta Junior and Bruno
Productions—to represent several of its properties in three European territories.

Euro Lizenzen will be taking on Teenage Mutant Ninja
Turtles
in the Germany, Austria and
Switzerland (GAS) region as the property celebrates its 25th anniversary in
2009. A retro campaign is already under way, with Euro Lizenzen working on all
aspects of the Ninja Turtles
program leading up to its anniversary events.

m4e, which 4Kids appointed earlier to represent Dinosaur
King
in GAS, will add licensing
responsibilities for The Dog in
that region.

Planeta Junior, part of the audiovisual entertainment group
DeA Planeta, will manage the expansion of the photographic properties The
Dog
and The Cat and the trading card property Dinosaur
King
into the Italian market.

Netherlands-based Bruno Productions will be representing the
monster truck tour Monster Jam across
the Benelux and GAS regions.

“With more and more 4Kids’ brands making a major impact in
more and more territories across Europe, it is essential to find the right
partners to represent them,” said Sandra Vauthier-Cellier, the co-managing
director at 4Kids Entertainment International. “In Bruno Productions, Planeta
Junior, m4e and Euro Lizenzen, we are confident that we have chosen partners
that are not only experts in their own territories but world-class licensing
professionals.”
