3DD Inks Content Licensing Deal with Babelgum

LONDON, May 8: 3DD
Digital, the digital division of the U.K.-based 3DD Group, has secured a
content licensing deal to provide a selection of concerts and live music
programming to Babelgum, a new peer-to-peer based Internet on demand TV
platform.

Founded in 2005 by Silvio Scaglia and Erik Lumer, the
Babelgum Channel is a global Internet TV network that uses peer-to-peer (P2P)
streaming technology. It allows users to enjoy free, on demand and personalized
channels that employs the high-resolution broadcast quality of traditional
television with the interactivity and global reach of the Internet.

Erik Lumer, the founder and CEO of Babelgum, commented: “We
are delighted to announce our partnership with 3DD as it means we can offer
customers more classic content, including established artists such as David
Bowie, Lou Reed and Moby, allowing them to rekindle the emotion they first felt
at seeing these great artists perform, again and again.”
