3-Disc DVD Rolls Out for Hell’s Kitchen

TORONTO, March 5: The
first season of FOX’s prime-time hit series Hell’s Kitchen, produced by Granada America, will be released on
DVD in the U.S. on April 8, with a pre-book date of March 11, from Visual
Entertainment Inc. (VEI).

Entering its fourth season
in April, coinciding with the DVD release, Hell’s Kitchen watches renowned British chef Gordon Ramsay’s
search for America’s next culinary star. Competing chefs are followed 24/7,
capturing the emotions, drama and Ramsay’s infamous antics as the restaurant’s
opening night approaches.

Hell’s Kitchen Season 1
will be available as a 3-disc DVD,
with features including a one-on-one interview with Ramsay, producer
interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and a tour of the Hell’s Kitchen restaurant. Ramsay’s obscenities and curse words
will be presented raw and uncensored.

Carol Lee, the VP of home
entertainment for North America at Granada International, commented, “We are
proud to bring from our extensive catalogue of television programming this
compelling series to North American audiences, and are excited to have Visual
Entertainment driving the marketing and distribution of the Hell’s Kitchen
Season 1
DVD release.”

“We are thrilled to work
with Granada to offer retailers this cutting-edge series on DVD which we know
will gain as much popularity as the television broadcast,” added Jeff Sprigg, the president of VEI. “We look forward
to creating a new awareness for the brand in the home-entertainment
marketplace.”
