NBCU Lands U.S. Premier League Rights

NEW YORK: NBCUniversal has scored the exclusive U.S. media rights for the Premier League starting with the 2013-14 season. 

NBCU will be the exclusive English- and Spanish-language media rights holder for all 380 matches across all platforms and devices in the U.S. The coverage will go out across NBC, NBC Sports Networks and NBCSports.com as well as Telemundo and mun2. NBC Sports Live Extra will provide the live streaming platform across the web, tablet and mobile devices. The multi-year deal takes effect in August 2013.
