NEW YORK/LOS ANGELES: Fuse Media has named Red Bull TV exec J-T Ladt to the newly created position of chief content officer, effective March 20.

In his new role, Ladt will work out of Los Angeles under Fuse Media CEO Michael Schwimmer. He will have oversight of creative content development and current production of long- and short-form original programming for all of Fuse Media’s content platforms.

Ladt joins the company from Red Bull Media House’s Red Bull TV, where he was head of development. He has also served as executive producer for true-crime series Missing Dial. Earlier in his career, he was VP of programming and development at Nat Geo and co-head of development for Renegade 83.

Schwimmer remarked: “We’re thrilled to have J-T join the Fuse team. Beyond having great experience and a track record of creative success in developing content for our core youth audience, J-T has the right combination of experience across both long-form programming and short-form content for multiplatform digital distribution to support our growth initiatives.”
