ATLANTA: The half-hour comedy Family Time, Bounce TV’s first original series, has been slated to launch on June 18, taking a Monday night slot at 8 p.m.

The show is created by Bentley Kyle Evans (The Jamie Foxx Show, Martin, Love That Girl) and produced by Evans and partner Trenten Gumbs. Family Time will follow the lives of The Stallworths, a work-class African-American family who wins a large sum in a lottery ticket scratch-off. They are instantly thrust into the middle class. The show stars Omar Gooding, Angell Conwell, Jayla Calhoun and Bentley Kyle Evans, Jr.

"Bounce TV is fast becoming a major entertainment force in the African-American community and I’m honored to have Family Time become Bounce TV’s first-ever original series," commented Evans.

"Family Time is truly unique in today’s television landscape as programming focused on the African-American family is virtually nonexistent at the other broadcast networks," said Gumbs.
