DreamWorks Channel Heads to Hong Kong, Macau

GLENDALE/HONG KONG: LeEco and DreamWorks Animation (DWA) have revealed that the DreamWorks channel is launching in Hong Kong and Macau.

The DreamWorks channel will become available on April 1 for all LeEco members under Le VIP membership in Cantonese and English, and exclusively through LeEco’s SuperTVs, Le Superphones and the Le TV Box. The initial lineup will feature such DWA hits as Dragons: Race to the Edge and Dinotrux. Additional series include All Hail King Julien, The Adventures of Puss in Boots, Dawn of the Croods and The Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show. The network will also offer a daily morning preschool block, DreamWorks Junior, comprising Raa Raa The Noisy Lion and Guess with Jess. An SVOD offering of the channel is set to launch later in the year.

The DreamWorks channel previously premiered in Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. HBO Asia handles affiliate sales, marketing and technical services.
