Armoza Formats’ prime-time singing competition The Final Four has been acquired in Australia, where the local rights for the format were picked up by Screentime Australia, a Banijay Group company.

This new Oz adaptation follows on news that The Final Four was picked up in Finland by ITV Studios Finland and in New Zealand and pan-Asia by Context Media. The format also has a U.S. treatment launching soon on FOX.

Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats, said: “By taking the most loved aspects of singing competitions and putting a unique take on it, The Final Four has offered our industry a fresh and innovative spin on a popular genre. We are looking forward to working with Screentime Australia and the Banijay Group to bring this format to another key territory.”
