Zodiak Showcasing Integrated Offerings

PARIS/LONDON: Zodiak Entertainment, part of DeAgostini Group, arrives at MIPTV for the first time as an integrated company, covering documentary, formats and animation, among other genres.

Zodiak Entertainment’s distribution arm is divided into two entities. Emmanuelle Bouilhaguet, the head of the scripted team at Paris-based Marathon, is concentrating on fiction, documentary and animation programming sales such as the critically acclaimed TV film Millennium, the animation hit Gormiti, the documentary The Real Slum Millionaires and hit comedy Totally Spies, The Movie.

Formats outfit Zodiak Entertainment Distribution, based in London, will focus on selling and acquiring unscripted programming under the watch of Matthieu Porte, the head of format sales. Format titles include Save My Holiday, the prime-time family talent show Parenti Talenti, the anti-dating show French Kiss and the new daily game show from Zodiak Entertainment’s creative entity, The Distillery, The Question.
