Zee TV, Veria Name Jerry Blake as General Counsel

NEW YORK: Asia TV USA, the distributor of Zee TV and Veria in the U.S., has appointed Jerry Blake as general counsel.

He comes to the role after serving as general counsel for Sundance Channel, advising the network in its launch of a slate of branded entertainment original series such as Iconoclasts, Live From Abbey Road, Spectacle: Elvis Costello With… and Big Ideas for a Small Planet. Prior to joining Sundance, Blake was senior counsel at Rainbow Media Holdings, where he advised cable networks IFC, AMC, WE and Bravo (until its sale to NBC Universal).
