ZDF in Archive Footage Deal with NBC News

MAINZ, August 14: ZDF Enterprises will represent the NBC
News Archive and license its footage in German-speaking territories beginning
this month.

ZDF Enterprises will offer up material from the NBC News
Archive to clients in Germany, Austria and the German-speaking areas of
Switzerland. "With ZDF Enterprises we found the best synergy in terms of
expanding NBC News Archive to the German-speaking production community,” noted
Nancy Cole, the director of archives, sales and licensing at NBC News. “ZDF
Enterprises has a strong market position in the footage industry and sells
material to many target groups. For potential clients, this new relationship is
very pragmatic: it offers one-stop shopping for archival footage."
