YouTube Chief Set for MIPCOM Broadband Summit

PARIS, June 16: Chad
Hurley, the co-founder and CEO of YouTube, will deliver the opening keynote
speech for MIPCOM’s first Broadband Video Summit on October 15.

The Broadband Video Summit
is a new addition to MIPCOM—taking place in Cannes from October 13 to
17—exploring Internet TV platforms and multiplatform content creation.

Also slated to deliver
keynote speeches at MIPCOM are Philippe Dauman, the president and CEO of Viacom, and former Disney chief Michael
Eisner, the founder of the digital content studio Vuguru.
