WWE Monday Night RAW to be Broadcast Live on TVC Deportes

MEXICO CITY, September 25:
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has reached a new agreement with TVC
Deportes, which will make WWE Monday Night RAW available live for the first
time on the cable sports channel.

Beginning October 6,
Monday Night RAW will broadcast live to more than 4.5 million TV households on
TVC Deportes. With this addition, the program is now available live throughout
North America. This deal follows the announcements of WWE programming being
launched for broadcast television in Mexico on Televisa’s Galavision Canal 9
and TV Azteca’s Azteca 7. RAW features WWE stars such as John Cena and Shawn
Michaels and showcases the action, excitement and drama of the brand.

“WWE is very excited to
announce that for the first time ever, our fans in Mexico will be able to watch
RAW live every Monday night in its entirety on TVC Deportes,” said Shane
McMahon, WWE executive VP of global media.

“Adding WWE RAW Live [to
its regular programming] is part of the excellent service we provide to our
subscribers, by bringing them the world’s prime sporting events completely live
as they happen,” said Gerardo Velázquez de León, the director of TVC Deportes.
“Raw is a magnificent event that the Mexican TV audience will enjoy and become
quickly devoted to week after week.”
