These downloadable reports were compiled by Jenkins, who surveyed sellers in a variety of markets, across several genres, in order to determine estimated high and low prices for acquired programming. These guides offer up price ranges in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Benelux, Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Israel, Iberia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Pan Arab, Pan Asia, Pan Latin America, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Scandinavia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, U.K., U.S.

METHODOLOGY
A broad range of sellers—niche and multi-genre distributors—in numerous territories were asked for the lowest and highest prices paid for the listed categories of programming. This index is for acquisitions only, and does not include prices for co-productions or commissions. The figures are intended to serve as very general guidelines, as prices can vary greatly depending on the size of the network, the number of runs, the daypart in which the show will run and, most important, the way a program is packaged with other product. Prices also vary depending on the type of platform making the purchase (terrestrial, satellite, cable, etc.), and if nonlinear rights are included. All prices are in U.S. dollars.
