LONDON: Zodiak Rights continues to notch up deals on the format Wife Swap, with Sony’s SET channel in India and CTC Network in Russia as the latest broadcasters to adapt the show.

UTV in India will produce a minimum run of 26 hour-long episodes to premiere on SET. Russia’s CTC Network is producing a minimum of ten episodes for broadcast in the first quarter of the year. The show has traveled to a number of countries, including Ukraine (third season), Israel (fourth season) and Spain, which has a further eight episodes coming. Prima TV in Romania has just recommissioned season 12 of the show.

Anne-Marie Pardoe, the head of sales at Zodiak Rights, said: “It’s very exciting that this format will now be available to viewers in India and Russia for the first time. Wife Swap is one of Zodiak Rights’ most successful formats and continues to draw in viewers wherever it airs in the world and I am sure that Russia and India will be no exception.”
