Producer Jamie Brown is launching Grand River Productions, a new development-focused content creator for the international film and TV markets.
Brown is an executive producer on Mammoth Screen’s War of the Worlds for the BBC. He has also produced, or executive produced, a number of feature films, including Country of My Skull, Captive and To Walk with Lions.
With a head office in London and an additional office in Los Angeles, Grand River Productions has talent packaging, financing and distribution capabilities. The company has a slate of new scripted projects in development.
Brown, CEO of Grand River Productions, said: “The proliferation of platforms airing high-end scripted television content has created a myriad of opportunities for creators and IP owners with great ideas. With both creative and broadcasting contacts and financing capabilities, Grand River Productions can facilitate the required development of projects in the U.K., U.S. and globally. We look forward to working with best-in-class creatives and producers to enable the advancement of their ideas. We will be announcing our first raft of projects imminently.”
