Vuguru’s Prom Queen Sequel Scores New Distribution Deals

BEVERLY HILLS, September 10: Michael Eisner’s new-media
studio Vuguru has secured a raft of new
distribution deals with digital media platforms like MySpace and YouTube for Prom
Queen: Summer Heat
, the spinoff of the
Emmy-nominated broadband series Prom Queen.

Vuguru has reached deals for the sequel with Bebo, MySpace,
YouTube, Veoh, Verizon Wireless V CAST Video, Imeem, Revver and Blinkx.
Additionally, Vuguru has a deal in place with VideoEgg, which uses video
overlay technology—marking the first time this advertising platform has
been used as a content distribution method; as well as with Starstyle.com,
which involves e-commerce. Prom Queen: Summer Heat is also available on Prom Queen's homepage www.PromQueen.tv, and the parent page,
located at Vuguru.com.

New episodes of Prom Queen: Summer Heat will be delivered in 15, two-minute episodes
throughout August and September on the various different platforms. Prom
Queen: Summer Heat
, produced in partnership
with the production company Big Fantastic, picks up where the original
broadband series left off, in the summer following prom night.

"We're thrilled to be to able offer Prom Queen:
Summer Heat
to the millions of dedicated
fans across these new formats," said Eisner. "These new deals will
make it easier to enjoy the continuation of this wonderful series that
continues to exceed our expectations."
