Vivendi’s Revenues Up for 2007

PARIS, January 31:
Vivendi’s revenues rose 8 percent to 21.7 billion euros for 2007, delivering an
adjusted net income of 2.8 billion euros, while fourth quarter revenues were up
8.5 percent to 6 billion euros.

At Canal+ Group, revenues
were 4.4 billion euros for the year, a 20.2-percent year-on-year increase.
Revenues from pay-TV operations in France were up 25 percent compared to 2006.
Pay-TV operations benefited from the TPS acquisition, as well as higher
subscription and ad revenues. As at the end of 2007, Canal+ Group had 10.5
million pay-TV subscribers, marking a net increase of 280,000. Canal+’s total
subscriptions at the end of the year reached 5.3 million, a net increase of
more than 80,000. The churn rate was 12.8 percent. CanalSat and TPS’ total
subscriptions were more than 5.2 million, showing a net increase of 200,000.
CanalSat’s churn rate was 10 percent.

Revenues from Canal+
Group’s other operations grew 4 percent, thanks to the solid performance of
Canal+ in Poland and higher advertising revenues from i>Télé. StudioCanal
posted lower revenues, of 352 million euros.
