NEW YORK: Peter Emerson, the president of eOne Television International, discusses both the AMC deal and the company’s strong standing in the marketplace in this video interview.

A few months ago, Entertainment One (eOne) scored an exclusive, multiyear international output deal with AMC Networks. The arrangement sees it handling international distribution for all original series from the U.S.-based AMC and Sundance Channel. eOne already serves as the studio and international distributor behind the AMC series Hell on Wheels and, along with FOX International Channels, the international distributor for the phenomenally successful zombie drama The Walking Dead. The agreement comes as another feather in the hat for the company’s TV business, which has achieved a solid reputation in the creative community in a relatively short period of time.
