Veria TV Sells Package of Wellness Programming to Canada’s ONE

NEW YORK: Veria TV has inked a deal with ONE: the Body, Mind & Spirit channel to provide up to 250 hours of Veria’s natural and wellness programs to air throughout Canada in 2011.

As part of the deal, Veria and ONE, which is owned and operated by ZoomerMedia Limited, will explore possible co-productions on future series. ONE currently broadcasts Veria’s The Incurables, which features true stories of men and women who triumph over illness by natural means.

Mark Prasuhn, the chief operating and content officer for ZoomerMedia Limited’s television division, commented: “Veria has an unparalleled television catalogue relating to ‘mind, body and spirit’ and this agreement marks the beginning of ZoomerMedia’s plans to reenergize ONE with new content and a refreshed look.
