Univision Highlights Fall Lineup

MIAMI: Univision Network’s fall slate is set to include the return of its hit novelas such as Timeless Love, the series Look Who’s Dancing and the 50th anniversary celebration of Sabado Gigante in 2012, among other highlights.

The fall season will begin with the novelas Timeless Love, Teresa and The Power of Destiny. The tenth season of Don Francisco Presents will air in September and the investigative news magazine show Here and Now is returning for an eleventh season. Sabado Gigante continues its record as the longest running variety show in TV history.

Look Who’s Dancing, the dance competition show that features ten celebrities performing routines, and Salt and Pepper, a weekly look at happenings in entertainment, will also return in September. Prime-time specials, including the 12th annual Latin Grammy Awards, will air on the network as well.

“To maintain our growth position and momentum, today Univision revealed a robust programming line-up that includes some of the best novelas in the world, from our partner Televisa; and the new season of Mira Quien Baila one of the biggest reality hits on television,” said Luis Fernández, the president of entertainment at Univision Studios. “This, along with an expanded five-hour morning block, speaks to our commitment to deliver the best content to Hispanic America during the 2011-2012 season.”
