UKTV Sets January Launch for Eden

LONDON, December 22: UKTV
Documentary will re-launch as Eden on January 26, touting the new tagline
"One amazing world. One amazing channel."

The new multiplatform
brand will target couples in their 30s and 40s who are looking for intelligent
engagement and mental stimulation for both themselves and their children. Eden
will feature programs such as Superstorm, Ganges and Wild
China
as well as Tribe, Elephant Diaries and Tribal Wives. Also set to air are Planet Earth, Ray Mears' Extreme Survival, Life of Mammals and Full Circle with Michael Palin. A complementary website will also launch on the
same day.

UKTV's director of factual
and lifestyle, Jane Mote, said, "Eden promises to be a stunning start to a
complete overhaul of our three factual channels, closely followed by Blighty
and Yesterday. Our three new brands will reflect the truly inspirational
content we have access to and reinvigorate the way people view the very best of
factual TV."

Eden's channel head,
