TWC, Delivery Agent Align for Project Runway Auction

SAN FRANCISCO, March 5:
The Weinstein Company (TWC) and Delivery Agent have teamed up to create
ProjectRunway.com, which is auctioning off original garments designed by the
final five Project Runway contestants.

Auctions are currently
available with garments designed by Chris March and Kathleen “Sweet P” Vaughn
through today. Following this evening’s Project Runway season finale, more than 35 original garments
designed by the final three contestants—Rami Kashou, Jillian Lewis and
Christian Siriano—will be on auction through March 12. The auction for
this year’s winning collection will extend an additional week, closing March
19. A portion of the proceeds will go to New York-based The HOPE Program, a
career-development program for homeless and welfare-dependent adults.

Aside from auctions, the
site also offers 12 limited-edition T-shirts designed by the contestants,
exclusive photo galleries, style advice video clips, interviews with the
designers, episode recaps and more.

"We are so excited to
give our loyal fans the opportunity to bid on and actually own the designs they
love,” said Barbara Schneeweiss, the VP of TV and film production and
development for TWC. “This is a fun and affordable initiative that maximizes
technology and supports an important cause. In developing and producing Project
Runway
for television, The
Weinstein Company has strived to create a website that provides one-stop
shopping for all things Project Runway. Delivery Agent has helped create an unparalleled website that not
only supports the show, but provides the brand with a true, communal online
home."

"As each season of Project
Runway
progresses, the excitement
builds for all of us working behind the scenes to bring ProjectRunway.com to
life," added Mike Fitzsimmons, the CEO of Delivery Agent. "Through
our partnership with The Weinstein Company, we have built incredible
relationships with the contestants and are able to deliver fans exclusive
products and content unlike any year before. We are all looking forward to the
season finale auction."
