ZDF Enterprises to Rep WWII Docuseries Frontlines

ZDF Enterprises has commissioned and is the global distributor of Frontlines, a new WWII history docuseries.

Produced by Impossible Factual, the eight-part series focuses on eight iconic battlefields—Midway, Anzio, Monte Cassino, Omaha, Hill 112, Bastogne, Iwo Jima and Berlin—and the fierce combat and life and death struggles of the soldiers. First-person testimony, location demonstrations, analysis and vivid storytelling will bring these frontlines alive, dispelling the myths. The stories are told from the foxholes, bunkers and cockpit, as well as by those in vital support roles.

Prior to completion, Frontlines has already been sold to Viasat World for Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and CIS, Foxtel in Australia and iPrima in the Czech Republic.
