Wildlife ER Scores Day-and-Date Premiere & Season Two Renewal

Love Nature has revealed it will debut Wildlife ER across its global linear pay-TV channels and U.S. FAST platforms simultaneously and renewed the series for a second season.

Produced by WildBear Entertainment, Wildlife ER follows the dedicated professionals and volunteers responsible for rescuing and caring for sick and injured animals in Australia’s busiest wildlife hospital. Season one is slated to debut across Love Nature’s channels on January 14.

In the U.S., Wildlife ER premieres during the Outback Week programming event, which runs from January 9 to 15. The series will also air on Sky Nature in the U.K., Germany and Italy.

The series is part of Love Nature’s recently launched social responsibility initiative, Love Nature Gives Back, which supports the conservation of wild animals and the people who help them. Love Nature is supporting the non-profit organization RSPCA’s Wildlife Hospital in Brisbane, Australia, where the series is filmed.

Wildlife ER is created and produced by WildBear. Veronica Fury is executive producer of WildBear Entertainment and producer of the series, alongside Michael Tear, executive producer; Stephen Waller, supervising producer; and Annie Gray, series producer. James Manfull executive produces the series on behalf of Love Nature.

Blue Ant International oversees pre-sales and licensing outside of commissioning territories for seasons one and two.

“Premiering this original commission concurrently on Love Nature FAST channels in the U.S. and global linear pay-TV channels is a major milestone that signals our commitment to investing in our brand to deliver new programming to audiences across all platforms,” said Carlyn Staudt, global general manager at Love Nature. “We’re also excited to announce a returning season of Wildlife ER, which captivates viewers with touching stories about iconic Australian animals, like koalas and kangaroos, that nature lovers around the world will love.”
