VICE Studios Producing Drug Wars for Channel 5

Channel 5 has commissioned the new documentary series Drug Wars (working title) from VICE Studios.

The new four-part series builds on the success of VICE Studios’ Britain’s Cocaine Epidemic. It examines prolific drug use across the U.K., featuring candid insight from users and their families, as well as the medical support and police who are trying to put an end to drug addiction. The series will explore a range of narcotics. Drug Wars is executive produced by Yonni Usiskin for VICE Studios.

Usiskin, VICE Studios’ creative director and executive producer, said, “We are delighted to be working with Channel 5 again and we’re looking forward to making this new original, entertaining and very distinct series. This latest commission demonstrates VICE Studios’ increasingly diverse slate of content.”
