Passion Distribution licensed a package of programming to ProSiebenSat.1, including a package deal for its new free-to-air documentary channel kabel eins Doku. The ProSiebenSat.1 group of channels also acquired the first season of Make You Laugh Out Loud, which has aired on SAT.1.

The RTL group picked up the true-crime series Cold Justice: Sex Crimes. A+E Networks, meanwhile, licensed true-crime titles Mind of a Murderer (seasons one and two) and Stalked (seasons one and two). A+E Networks also went for season three of Skin Wars, and Wedding Town. ZDF signed on for The Evolution of Us.

Additionally, Passion sold a 70-hour package to German-language channel TV24 in Switzerland. The deal covers titles such as Weather Gone Viral, How the Universe Works (season two), Autopsy: Most Shocking Cases and seasons two and three of Prospectors.

Beatrice Rossmanith, the senior sales manager at Passion Distribution, said, “Germany is a key market for us. From prime-time entertainment to true crime, documentaries and clip shows, the variety of titles we have recently licensed into the territory reflects an appetite for factual content which is still on the increase. Our current catalog and upcoming MIPCOM slate are a great fit for the market and will no doubt allow us to build on that success in the coming months.”
