Video Interview: The Time to Go FAST?

AVOD and FAST are presenting numerous opportunities for distributors, notably across the U.S. and Europe, and the factual programming segment is seeing many of the benefits. Autentic’s Patrick Hörl, Cineflix Rights’ Mike Gould and Blue Ant Media’s Jamie Schouela talk to TV Real Weekly about launching and programming factual FAST channels.

 

“Factual is an obvious place to start when it comes to rolling out FAST channels,” Gould, senior VP of digital at Cineflix Rights, said. “It has some very established subgenres that users are familiar with. The bulk of our catalog is high-volume unscripted programming, so it made sense for us to focus on those key brands and launch FAST channels with those shows as tentpole IP.”
