LOS ANGELES: The Case Of: JonBenét Ramsey, a docuseries that reexamines the unsolved murder of the young beauty queen, has been sold into Australia and New Zealand through deals secured by Electus International and Critical Content.

The Case Of: JonBenét Ramsey has been acquired by Nine Network in Australia and PRIME in New Zealand. These deals come on the heels of Electus International’s partnership with Critical Content for the worldwide distribution of the series and Global Television in Canada picking up the simulcast rights. The Case Of: JonBenét Ramsey will premiere on CBS in the U.S. on September 18.

The Case Of: JonBenét Ramsey is a six-hour limited event docuseries that takes another look at the unsolved mystery of Ramsey’s murder, 20 years after her death. The Case Of: JonBenét Ramsey reunites the original investigators in the case with new experts, and together they reexamine the crime. Emmy winner Tom Forman (48 Hours, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition) and Critical Content produced the series.

“We are thrilled to be bringing this series to a global audience and these deals will be the first of many as 20 years later there is still significant interest in this unsolved case,” said Cyrus Farrokh, the senior VP of Electus International. “The JonBenét Ramsey murder sent shockwaves around the world and we are confident this series will resonate with viewers across the world.”

Electus International will present The Case Of: JonBenét Ramsey at MIPCOM 2016.
