Social Media Star Lands Netflix Series

LOS ANGELES: Social media personality Cameron Dallas—who has more than 35 million followers across a range of platforms—is getting his own Netflix series.

The unscripted show is being executive produced by Jane Lipsitz and Dan Cutforth of Magical Elves and Brillstein Entertainment partners Ben Curtis, Sanford Wernick and Jon Liebman. Dallas will also exec produce, as will Bart Bordelon.

The as-yet-unnamed series will focus on the entrepreneur and influencer and his close circle of friends. He first developed a devout fan base on Vine, where he has 9.4 million followers. He has more than 13 million followers on Instagram. On YouTube he has more than 4.7 million subscribers and in excess of 203 million video views.
