Smithsonian Lines Up Season Two of America in Color

Smithsonian Channel has slated a second season of America in Color to launch on November 18, kicking off with an episode on the Wild West.

Season two delves even deeper into historical archives, private collections and home movies, digitizing over 23 miles of footage, in search of the people, places and moments that helped define the 20th century.

Further episodes will spotlight organized crime, how leisure and recreation opportunities transformed American lives, industrial innovation, Hollywood’s golden age and more.
