Scripps Networks UK & EMEA Taps Nielsen NRG International Exec

LONDON: Ettie Etela, formerly of Nielsen NRG International, has joined Scripps Networks Interactive as the VP of research and insights for the U.K. and EMEA.

In her new role, Ettie will support the business’s overall strategy in the U.K. and EMEA. She will work closely with the channel, commercial and digital teams, and will be responsible for providing deep consumer insights. Ettie will also report on the changing media consumption trends within Scripps Networks UK & EMEA’s key markets. She replaces Paul McEvoy.

Prior to joining Scripps Networks Interactive, Ettie spent more than ten years working both agency- and client-side in senior research positions for major global content and media companies, including Discovery Networks and The Walt Disney Company. Most recently, she served as research director at Nielsen NRG International, where she led a range of projects from testing content and materials, as well as studies into the effectiveness of marketing and international consumer understanding.
