Science Channel’s How the Universe Works Premiering New Season

The latest season of How the Universe Works is set to bow on Science Channel today (January 2) with a two-hour special.

The signature Science Channel space series is returning for its eighth season with a special that investigates the threat of a catastrophic asteroid impact. Other show topics include Jupiter’s Secrets, which follows NASA’s Juno probe; Time Travel, which sees scientists consider real-world possibilities and tackle some of the toughest questions in physics; Star Apocalypse, exploring the effects of stars dying across the universe; and Mission to Mars, a look at whether or not crewed missions to Mars are truly possible.

How the Universe Works is produced for Science Channel by Pioneer Productions.
