Rive Gauche Television (RGTV) has picked up the worldwide rights to My Misdiagnosis, produced by Farpoint Films, in addition to signing a number of deals ahead of MIPCOM.

My Misdiagnosis is about people who get life-altering news from their doctor. They need a radical surgery, expensive medication or even a life-changing medical treatment plan—or in some cases all three.

RGTV has also secured a number of sales. Something’s Killing Me has been licensed to various broadcasters such as ProSieben in Germany, CBS Reality in the U.K., Foxtel in Australia, NTV in Japan and Discovery in Italy and Spain. CBS Reality also acquired crime brands Ice Cold Killers, Evil Twins and Fame Kills.

All seasons of the Buying… franchise have been scooped up by Nine Network Australia. Astresmedia in Spain went for RGTV’s first TV movie, Overexposed. Discovery Italy picked up more seasons of My Strange Addiction, while ProSieben acquired the latest season of Dog Whisperer. Foxtel also acquired Trace of Evil and Uncovering. Additional seasons of Homicide Hunter have been picked up by TV4 in Sweden, AETN for the U.K., Foxtel in Australia and Germany’s ProSieben.

Jon Kramer, CEO of Rive Gauche, said: “We are very pleased to announce our latest sales and our most recent acquisition My Misdiagnosis. With the success of Something’s Killing Me adding another medical mystery series was a clear choice. We envision the medical mysteries genre to be a nice compliment for our extensive offering of crime shows catering to the same audience, 25- to 54-year-old females.”
