Proper TV Strengthens Content, Development & Production Teams

Proper Television has made a trio of appointments for its content, development and production teams, including tapping executive producer Allison Grace as its new VP of content.

Grace first joined Proper in 2014 after working for HGTV, Food Network and Slice as a production executive. She first began her career at the CBC. She has also run her own production company.

Proper Television has also elevated senior line producer Jackie Frank to director of production. In addition, Mike Armitage is returning to the company as director of development after working for Banger Films.

Frank started her career at CBC Sports before being hired by Proper in 2005. Armitage originally joined the company in 2015 as senior development producer. He most recently served as head of development at Banger Films.

“It’s been a year of change at Proper, but with the continued guidance and support of our parent company Boat Rocker Media, we’re entering into our most productive period ever,” said co-presidents Cathie James and Lesia Capone. “Allison, Jackie and Mike have been a key part of Proper’s growth, and their record of excellence will have even broader implications in these new senior roles.”
