Prime Video has ordered to series The Pasta Queen, a culinary travel show from Hello Sunshine that will be led by chef and social media star Nadia Caterina Munno.

In each episode, Munno will travel through Italy and then bring viewers back to her kitchen, where she will share essential ingredients from the regions she visited and use them to serve up authentic Italian dishes.

Munno comes from a long family line of pasta makers dating back to the 1800s. She is a New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-selling author and has millions of followers across TikTok and Instagram.

The Pasta Queen is being produced by Hello Sunshine and Amazon MGM Studios, with Reese Witherspoon, Sara Rea, Sue Kinkead and Liz Sandorff serving as executive producers. Cat Sullivan serves as showrunner and executive producer, with Munno also serving as an executive producer.

“Nadia has built an engaged and loyal social media presence through her unique and stylized celebration of her Italian culture and the meals around which her family is built,” said Lauren Anderson, head of brand and content innovation at Amazon MGM Studios. “Now with Hello Sunshine and thanks to the efforts of the Prime Video unscripted team, The Pasta Queen will expand her presence by giving global audiences a front row seat to her culinary and sartorial creativity.”

“I’m so excited to share with the world the debut of my series The Pasta Queen,” Munno said. “I’m proud to have worked with such amazing partners, Hello Sunshine and Prime Video, to bring this to life. Come on a journey with me into my home kitchen and across my beloved Italy to experience firsthand my gorgeous world of authentic Italian food, family and culture.”

Sara Rea, Hello Sunshine’s head of unscripted television, added, “The series is a charming, comedic and insightful journey, and there is no one better to take us on this extraordinary adventure through beautiful Italy than Nadia. She is such a vibrant star who lights up the screen. We’re so excited to team up with this true Pasta Queen and the team at Prime Video to bring viewers along to share in the joys of cooking and tradition.”
