Passion Named Distribution Partner for New Dynamo Series

Passion Distribution has been appointed the international distribution partner for the new three-part special about the magician Dynamo, Project 7 (working title).

After five years away from TV due to a career-threatening illness, Dynamo has returned with a new series that will take viewers on a journey across the globe to watch him perform close-up miracles, impossible predictions and unbelievable feats of magic that will have a lasting effect both on him and the people he interacts with. The new series is co-produced by Phil McIntyre Television, Inner Circle Films and Motion Content Group for Sky and will air on Sky One and the streaming service NOW TV in the U.K. and Ireland in 2020.

Steven Frayne, also known as Dynamo, emerged into the U.K.’s magic scene in 2004. Performing his magic on the streets of London, Dynamo has a fan base that exploded as he became a hot performer on the party circuit.

Dynamo’s subsequent debut TV series Dynamo: Magician Impossible (18×60 min.) became a huge international hit, enthralling over 250 million viewers across 229 territories. The show gained a hat-trick of BAFTA nominations.
