Paramount+ Reveals First U.K. Original Unscripted Slate

Paramount+ has unveiled its first slate of original U.K. unscripted programs, including paranormal, true-crime and factual-entertainment series, among others.

The U.K.-commissioned programs include Haunted (w/t), from Story Films in association with All3Media International. The series details the most intriguing, terrifying and enduring paranormal cases in the U.K. and the U.S.

From 72 Films in association with All3Media International and Night Train Media, the premium factual series Rise of the Tech Titans (w/t) tells the story of the rise of Big Tech and the handful of young upstarts who created the modern world.

The true-crime program The Box (w/t), from Top Hat Productions in association with All3Media International and Night Train Media, follows Police Detective Chris Loudon’s mission to expose the truth behind one of the U.S.’s worst serial killers. When he discovers a box of evidence seized decades ago that remained untouched, he finds dozens of photos of young women. He then unravels a murder mystery created by a man hiding in plain sight in small-town America, where women’s reports of sexual assault were frequently dismissed in the 1970s.

Produced by VICE Studios in association with VICE World News for Paramount+ in the U.K. and SBS in Australia, MH370: The Lost Flight (w/t) investigates the disappearance of Malaysian flight MH370, which disappeared in 2014. The series features candid testimony from those most impacted and unveils new evidence that dispels previous theories.

Lastly, the factual-entertainment series Chalet Girls (w/t) takes viewers into the pleasure-seeking world of luxury ski resorts, pulling back the curtain on the lives of the rich and famous.

All the new original series will be exclusively available on Paramount+ in the U.K. following the service’s launch this summer.
