Pair of Exec Appointments at True Entertainment & Original Media

NEW YORK: Two new senior VPs of development have been brought on board True Entertainment and Original Media.

Tony Biancosino has been tapped as senior VP of development, heading up development at Original Media, while Hazel Steward is senior VP of East Coast development at True Entertainment, where she co-heads development for True with Bryan Hale, senior VP for West Coast development.

Both Biancosino and Steward report to Glenda Hersh and Steven Weinstock, co-presidents and CEOs of both True Entertainment and Original Media, as does Hale.

Additionally, longtime True Entertainment executive and producer Jo Honig has inked an overall deal with the company, via her Omelette Bar Productions. Honig was previously the executive VP of development at True. With Omelette Bar, Honig will focus exclusively on creating unscripted comedy and offbeat doc series.
