New Surfing Docuseries to Debut on Apple TV+

Make or Break, a new series following the world’s best surfers, is slated to premiere on Apple TV+ on April 29.

From Box to Box Films in partnership with the World Surf League, season one spotlights champions Kelly Slater, Stephanie Gilmore, Gabriel Medina, Tyler Wright, Italo Ferreira and Tatiana Weston-Webb. Apple TV+ has already renewed the series for a second season, which will follow the 2022 Championship Tour.

Additional notable surfers featured in season one are Morgan Cibilic, Johanne Defay, Leonardo Fioravanti, Jeremy Flores, John John Florence, Filipe Toledo, Kanoa Igarashi, Matt McGillivray, Isabella Nichols and Jack Robinson.

Executive producers for the series are Academy Award and BAFTA winner James Gay-Rees (Exit Through the Gift Shop, Amy), BAFTA nominee Paul Martin (Formula 1: Drive to Survive) and World Surf League CEO Erik Logan and Ryan Holcomb.
