Netflix Renews I Am a Killer for Two Seasons

Netflix has ordered fifth and sixth seasons of Transistor Films’ true-crime docuseries I Am a Killer.

The show gains access to various maximum-security prisons across the U.S., focusing each season on six prisoners convicted of murder. Exclusive interviews examine the killers’ motives and the crimes they committed.

Danny Tipping, executive producer for Transistor Films, said: “Five years on from season one, we are still delivering new stories that continue to raise important issues around the penal system and create debate. We’re excited to be working with Netflix again and we’ve set a high bar with this series through exclusive access to prisoners and interviews that will both shock and surprise viewers globally.”
