Netflix Japan Reveals Slate of Unscripted Content

Netflix Japan is set to bring a host of new unscripted content to the platform as it continues to invest in the category for local audiences.

Three dating shows are included in the package. Is She the Wolf? and Love Like a K-Drama—newcomers to the platform—are scheduled for fall debuts. The second season of Love Village, a show centered around individuals aged 35 to 60 who are searching for love, is slated to return with emcees Atsushi Tamura and Becky.

Audiences can anticipate the premiere of the second season of the unscripted comedy series Last One Standing on October 10 with a new group of Japanese comedians. LIGHTHOUSE, featuring musician-actor Gen Hoshino and comedian Masayasu Wakabayashi, is set to launch on August 22.
