Nat Geo WILD Prepping New Cesar Millan Series

WASHINGTON, D.C.: Casting is underway for the upcoming Nat Geo WILD series Cesar and Son (working title), with dog whisperer Cesar Millan and his son Andre in search of canines and their owners to star in the show.

The Millans are traveling across America, making stops in Philadelphia, Chicago, Washington, D.C., St. Louis, San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles, in search of dogs to feature on the new series, which is their first joint project. Cesar and Son will put a spotlight on community problems that impact canines, such as widespread medical problems or trouble with too many strays. The show will also showcase canine heroes that have saved lives or that help people on a regular basis. The dog behaviorists will also take on problem pooches. Production will begin this summer.

Cesar and Son is produced for Nat Geo WILD by Leepson Bounds Entertainment. Executive producers are Cesar Millan, Bob Aniello and David Leepson. For Nat Geo WILD, executive producer and senior VP of development and production is Janet Han Vissering, and the executive VP and general manager is Geoff Daniels.

“I’m thrilled to hit the road with my son for our first joint project,” said Cesar Millan. “Andre is a natural, and has been helping me teach humans and rehabilitate dogs for his entire life. With his help, I’m confident that we will be able to find the most inspirational and moving stories that our country has to offer. But I’m not sure what’s going to be the bigger challenge—helping the biggest problem dogs in America, or living in such close quarters with my 21-year-old son!”
