Myths—The Greatest Mysteries of Humanity Season Three in the Works

Myths—The Greatest Mysteries of Humanity, a docuseries produced by Story House Productions for ZDFinfo and ZDF Enterprises, has begun filming its third season.

The first season of the series, which explores inexplicable events and ancient legends, has sold across Europe and worldwide. Channel 5 (U.K.), FTV Prima (Czech Republic), Sky Deutschland, Escom (Bulgaria) and The HISTORY Channel in Germany and Spain have all picked up the title, along with Viasat, which licensed it globally.

Season three of Myths—The Greatest Mysteries of Humanity delves into the legend of El Dorado, the biblical garden of Eden, Alexander the Great and Mega Cultures, as well as giants, yeti and Bigfoot. The biblical story of the people of Babylon and the Tower of Babel, the myth of Israel’s Lost Tribes, the Djedefre Pyramid and the voodoo legends of Haiti will also be explored.

Ralf Rueckauer, VP of ZDFE.unscripted, ZDF Enterprises, said: “With myths and legends having intrigued generations, this series is great at capturing the curious among us who would love to know the truth about Bigfoot and whether there really was a city made of gold.”
